100 Poems | 100 Visits
This collection of poems came from the meetings of four friends between 2018 and 2021.
The selection and presentation attempt to capture the informality and energy that was characteristic of the sessions; the facsimile production visually echoes their mood and tone.
The choice of poem(s) for every session was open. This led to a rich diversity of poetry, reflecting the range of interests and tastes of the members, and the resultant interactions were memorable and life enhancing.
The Four: Helen Mullins, Terry O’Reilly, Joe Kavanagh and Tom Mullins
Unfortunately, Terry developed Motor Neurone Disease during the years that these poetry sessions were taking place. With the help of technology the sessions lasted for another while but then ceased as the disease advanced.
